Gah.
So last Sunday I had opening shift at my work (the cafe in a Barnes & Noble, for those of you who don’t remember), and there was this really cute girl who came in and purchased a couple things at the cafe and left. She had short brown hair and a pretty face and was somewhat soft-spoken.
Today (or yesterday, depending on which time zone you are in) I had opening shift again. I thought I might see her again, as there are plenty of regular customers, but I didn’t get my hopes up. Most of the day came and went and there was no sign of her. Then, about half an hour before I got off work, she showed up again and ordered a drink. I had told myself that she came back, I would ask for her name (you know to write on her drink?) but I couldn’t even build up the courage to do that. But she did smile at me and she even tipped me, which is unusual for an order consisting of only one drink. Does this mean she likes me? Does she think I’m cute? How should I even respond if I knew she was flirting with me? What should I do if I see her again?
